UEFA SUPER CUP PREVIEW

Its that time of the year again when UCL winners take on UEL winners. Real Madrid being the champions of Europe is participating in the tournament for a second year running after successfully defending the most sought after cup in Europe.Manchester Utd are back in the super cup for the 1st time since 2008 when they last won the UCL in that Moscow victory against reigning premier league champions Chelsea. Manchester Utd however lost the last time they played in the uefa super cup. Real Madrid on the other hand won it last time they participated in a thrilling encounter against fellow LaLiga rivals Sevilla.

THE TEAMS....

Real Madrid confirmed that Ronaldo who is set the strong contender for UEFA player of the year 2017 travelled with the squad but  will not start. Gareth Bale has also travelled even though he is subject to a lot of transfer speculation,with Jose Mourinho openly admitting that he is interested in the Welsh international. Manchester Utd wil be without defenders Bailey and Jones who are suspended hence Lindelof starts.Lukaku is back in the super cup for the 1st time since his penalty miss when playing for Chelsea against Bayern Munich in 2013. Nemanja Matic makes his competitive debut for Man Utd since his move from Chelsea.

I foresee an interesting match and believe that all football fans like i will be thrilled. Lets meet back aftet the match as we review the European club competitions curtain raiser.

SUPERSPORT 7 COMES TO DSTV COMPACT!!!

Last week Dstv South Africa announced that they're renaming its Dstv Extra package to the same name as with Rest of Africa (ROA) . Dstv Extra has now changed to Dstv Compact Plus. The south African version however does not have VuzuAmp like how it is with Rest of Africa. Compact Plus RSA and ROA however both have the all LaLiga channel, Supersport 7HD. As the name change happens, Dstg wants to market the package to its dstv compact subscribers as they try to lure them into upgrading . SPECIAL FOR COMPACT SUBSCRIBERS   It was confirmed that MultiChoice has a surprise for DStv Compact customers. From 1 September, Compact customers will get a chance to try Compact Plus at no additional cost for a month to end September.Current active Compact customers will automatically be upgraded to Compact Plus for the period.
